NEW ZEALAND MOTORCYCLE TOUR

DAY: 1  Christchurch PICK-UP MOTORBIKES.

After arriving at Christchurch International Airport, you’ll be met at the airport and shuttled to your hotel to check-in.  before the adventure begins.


today you will pick up your bike. The rest of the day is set aside to allow you to settle in and rest up before the adventure begins tomorrow or you can visit some of the city sights. The day will include a safety meeting to review road rules and safety requirements, followed by a “get to know you” dinner. 

Things to do in Christchurch 

1. Christchurch Adventure Park What is it? Set on 358 hectares in Christchurch’s Port Hills, this park has magnificent views across the Canterbury Plains to the Southern Alps, plus excellent mountain biking trails and the longest and highest ziplines in the country. 

2. Quake City What is it? A small but incredibly well-curated museum, encapsulating the impact of New Zealand’s second-worst natural disaster on the city and its inhabitants. Rather than being too solemn or morbid, it’s informative, interactive, and hopeful. An essential visit for understanding how the quake has shaped the Christchurch of today.


DAY: 2 Christchurch --- Reefton

Leaving the old English-style city, you will find that getting comfortable with your bike will take no time, as you head across the plains and begin the twisting climb into the southern alps. Stopping near the top to watch the native parrots (Kea’s) is a great photo stop. Continuing on your way down from the pass and through scattered native bush brings you to your stop for the night in a peaceful Reefton town. evening free time


DAY: 3 Reefton --- Kaikōura

After a relaxing breakfast, hit the road, and cruise along between rich farmland and patches of thick native bush on smooth well well-maintained meandering roads. Today will take you back through the southern alps. As you leave this picturesque location the road will lead you along the base of the coastal mountain range to your stop for the night in a peaceful seaside town.


DAY: 4 Kaikōura --- Nelson

Picturesque seascapes, windy roads, native bush, changing elevations, and numerous photo stops make up the highlights of today’s ride. This is a GoPro day. Make sure your GoPro is ready with plenty of back up batteries. Stopping at any one of the many small local restaurants to sample fresh seafood, along with some optional ziplining makes this a fun day. Check in hotel and enjoy free time.

DAY: 5 Nelson --- HOKITIKA

After a typical NZ breakfast, you will continue to follow the coast through more rugged twisty roads, the ride takes you along the world-famous coastal highway, sweeping through fantastic corners, racing past rocky outcrops, and screaming at the top of your lungs all the way. Mix this with some fantastic stops for one-of-a-kind scenery, and you have a ride location that is amazing, check in the hotel and enjoy your free time.


DAY: 6 HOKITIKA --- QUEENSTOWN

Good morning new Zeland, get ready for a long day ride, Today you will follow a lightly traveled road as it hugs the coast, taking you into a part of NZ that is a mix of rugged hills, inspirational coastal seascapes, and rich farmland. This combined with a small population makes for an easy riding but long day. Evening you will arrive in Queenstown let's check in hotel and have a good sleep,


DAY: 7-8 Queenstown  NO RIDING REST DAY

Enjoying a lazy day in the adventure capital of New Zealand, today is a treat for all adventure junkies, a jet boat ride, a gondola ride, or a more relaxed steamer cruise on the lake, enjoying some easy riding, or you could catch up on all those important things like sorting out photos, writing down all the key points of the tour so far, and even dealing with that pesky laundry thing, Or just take a helicopter ride around mountains. Is Queenstown so famous? Known as the adventure capital of the world, Queenstown is home to a range of adventures, from the world's first and most famous bungy jumps - the Kawarau Bridge Bungy(opens in new window) - to jet boat thrills through the rugged beauty and unspoilt grandeur of the white-water rapids of the Shotover River.  

THINGS TO DO IN QUEENSTOWN  

1. Push your adventure limits first and most famous bungy jumps - the Kawarau Bridge Bungy  

2. Discover Skyline Queenstown Enjoy an iconic Queenstown experience and take the Queenstown Gondola(opens in new window) up 450 metres up to Bob's Peak. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of the aptly named Remarkables mountain range and Lake Wakatipu. Try your hand at the Queenstown Luge(which opens in a new window) and zoom down the course of banked corners, tunnels and dippers.  

3. Tee off at one of New Zealand's impressive golf courses New Zealand is a popular destination amongst the golfing greats, and for good reason. Home to three of the country’s championship courses, Jack’s Point(opens in new window), Millbrook Resort(opens in new window) and The Hills(opens in new window), Queenstown showcases some of the best and unique golf courses with spectacular alpine views. You can find six different golf courses only 20 minutes away from Queenstown that are suitable for golfers of all levels.  

4. See Queenstown from above Scenic flights are an excellent way to enjoy the natural splendour of Queenstown. A light plane or helicopter is the perfect way to take your holiday to the next level as you admire lush grasslands, tussocks, vast lakes, and snow-capped mountains from your vantage seat. Book a helicopter ride that also offer alpine landings to give you more time to take in the views. For those who are feeling a little more daring, try out paragliding or book a hot air balloon ride as the sun rises to a new day.


DAY: 9 Queenstown --- Dunedin

Heading towards the coast through bush-covered hills leads you to some great gorge riding. This is another GoPro day (there will be lots more on this tour) Have those batteries charged and ready, and you will arrive at Dunedin town, The city is renowned for its proximity to incredible wildlife around the magnificent Otago Peninsula. check-in hotel, free time.


DAY: 10 Dunedin --- Lake Tekapo

Today we will be heading closer to the mountains. Taking a loop through the foothills lets you view the mountains from up close, while you lose yourself in the ride. Great roads with little traffic make this a fun day.


DAY: 11 Lake Tekapo --- Christchurch

Today’s ride takes you along the world-famous coastal highway, sweeping through fantastic corners, racing past rocky outcrops, and grinning all the way. Mix this with some fantastic stops for one-of-a-kind scenery and you have a ride location that is amazing. Turning East leads you back into the mountains for your return to drop your bike off and head to your stop for the night.


DAY: 12 Christchurch hotel to the airport

After a typical NZ breakfast, you will catch your shuttle to the airport. This shuttle ride is filled with talk about the adventure you’ve just had and the fun experienced. Now is the time to start planning your next Adventure with us.
